3 Ingredients Easy Pork Char Siu

Easy pork char siu or Chinese BBQ pork which available in any Chinese restaurant menu. This recipe is simple to make using ready-to-use Lee Kum Kee Char Siu sauce that is widely available in any supermarket.

This char siu recipe has a similar taste to Filipino tocino, the bacon of the Philippines. Tocino is a sweet red cured pork, we serve this for breakfast with garlic rice and matched with fried eggs.

The best meat for char siu is pork belly, pork shoulder, or pork butt sliced thinly around one centimeter thick. Best to marinate the meat overnight for tasty and yummy char siu. This taste like tocino if you add 4-5 gloves of chopped garlic and season with pepper.
